The Term Abstract Art is used to define that kind of art form where visual language of color, form and line combine to make a beautiful composition that is independent of the visual references that were seen by the world in the past or even today. Earlier, that is before nineteenth century, western art was more on logical perspective of its artists. But abstract artists changed all this and showed their perspective more realistically through this art form. The birth of Abstract Art was because of thee need of artists to create a new kind of art that can show the changing world in terms of technology, philosophy or science.

The source from where the artists take inspiration for Abstract art is very diverse. It also involves imaginary art work. The final picture need not to be accurate for this art, it can be partial or evenly slightly similar to its inspiration. The painting needs not to be a perfect copy or representation. But then it should be recognizable by its viewers. The artist has the liberty to experiment with actual color, shape, size etc. without loosing the essence of the real thing so that one can relate to the actual inspiration.
