What is the similarity between Dreams and Poetry? In dreams we let our imaginations to wander whereas in poetry we try putting it out in the form of verses. Our dreams might be of two kinds namely, divine and satanic. However, dreams are the one that leads us to desires and fears. While sleeping our muscles are at rest, if not we would be doing all the things that we dream of.

Dreams don’t come just for humans but for animals too. Dreams are not just to think of but certain dreams have to be put to reality. One must plan properly in order to achieve their dreams. There are many poets who have become well known poets by putting out their dreams in the form of verses. Dreams can be a good resource to write poems. Each of us get weird dreams sometimes, in fact fantasy dreams too. These when put down as poems, works out well.

Any poem grows from imagination. Rather than sitting and imagining things to get a theme for a poem, there are poets who use their dreams as their source of imagination and write poems. Such poems are termed as Dream Poetry. Not all dream poetry become popular. It depends on the kind of dream we portray.
